Miss Christine Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bailey and son; John Barbour, Carl Jackson of Washington, D. C. were Christinas Day dinner guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Barbour. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lawson and children of Amissville, and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Dearing were also guests in the same home.

Miss Mary Ann Hunter will return to the hospital Wednesday for a check-up after being sick so long.

Pvt. Richard Hunter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hunter, has been promoted to PFC in Germany. Miss Yvonne Carter was holiday guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Carter.
