The Rappahannock Hunt,
"A Recognized Hunt”
At the annual meeting of the masters of the Foxhounds Association of America ( January 30, the Executive committee found that the Rappahannock Hunt had complied with all the requirements of the association and therefore, was entitled * to be a Recognized Hunt Briefly, in order to become recognized, a hunt club must first apply for registration with the association and serve a probationary period of one year. The club then applies in writing for •recognition. Following this, the District Representative inspects the chib and checks the applicant’s hunting establishment and hunting activities. For example, a minimum of twelve couples of entered hounds must be maintained and they must be obedient to voice and horn. Also there must be permanently established kennel and two hunting days a week to be scheduled.
