Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne and family, Peachy and David were guests over the week end of relatives in Arlington. On Saturday the Lynes attended the Ice Capades in Washington, D. C. Mrs. Carroll Menefee, who is a patient in the University Hospital with pneumonia, is much better. Mr. and Mrs. C. E Johnson entertained on Friday evening for dinner, Mr. and Jdrs. W. H. Lyne and Mr. and Mrs. John Davis. The occasion was in honor of Mrs. Johnson's mother, Mrs. C. H. H. Branch’s birthday. t Mrs. Della Howard, who entered Garfield hospital a few days ago, underwent an operation on Wednesday.
Miss Ruth Menefee had as her house guest over the week end Miss Ruth Moffett of Hyattsville, Md John Peyton Snead, who is a student at the University of Virginia, spent several days last week with his parents, Dr. and Mrs. J. P. Snead Miss Betty Snead and Miss Dolly Hagers of Fairfax Hall were weekend guests of Miss Snead’s parents, Dr. and Mrs. J. P. Snead
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dwyer of Elkwood were dinner guests of Mrs. Dwyer’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Silas Cornell.
Mrs. Tasker Woodward and son, Layry are spending this week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Henry Woodward of Falls Church and Mr. and Mrs. John R. Jenkins of Indian Head, Maryland.
