Correct Address Urged
For License Registration .
With the 1953 period of registration for Virginia motorists less than sixty (60) days away, arid the Division of Motor Vehicles preparing new applications for almost 1,250,000 licensees, Chester H. Lamb, Acting Commissioner, today urged all Virginia motorists who have changed their address since registering their vehicles last year to notify the Division immediately, furnishing the following information: new address, tide number, make and motor number, and license number, and name as shown on the old registration card.
Change of address blanks may be secured from the Division’s 110 license agents throughout the State and seven branch of fives located in some Qf the principal cities of the States.
If a Virginia motorist plans an extended trip out of the State during the registration period, March 15, to April 15—there are fifteen days of grace between March 31 to April 15, midnight—he should leave his correct forwarding address in brder that he may receive fads registration card.
“Failure to notify the Division of change of address and the other information listed above works a hardship on the license and may cause him considerable inconvenience, especially if through failure to supply the correct address, he does npt receive his application card promptly," said Mr. Lamb.
