Highlights of the meeting were: Minutes were read and approved; Regular bills authorized to be paid; Miss Mary Miller Wood was appointed to purchase some small gadgets for the kitchen; Mrs. D. D. Miller, secretary, was requested to write and •thank the following persons for their co-operation: J. M. Yates for the ham donated for the banquet, Mrs. R. L. Massie for the table she gave and A. J. Slaughter for fixing same. W. H. Peters of Front Royal and Tom Frost of Warren ton for their entertaining and instructive addresses.
Mrs D. D. Miller presented the pair of dungarees that was patched with money consisting of twenty-five dollars. She stated that another pair had been put in Lea’s store, with a cordial invitation to all men in Hampton District who had not put a patch to try patching this pair with money. Thread and patches are furnished.
Miss Ruth Stevens reported the plan of work for thevcoming year, as mapped by committees representing the fire companies of the county and (their auxiliaries.
The trend of discussion included the “working together” of the three fire companies in the county and their auxiliaries.
Plans are being formulated to give an interesting entertainment sponsored by the auxiliary in March.
Mrs. Cox expressed the wish that enjoy the hospitality of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of Amissville Fire Department, by attending the benefit card party Monday evening February If. Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.

George M. Willis and children end Miss Burrell Williams were recent \ .iitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Armentrout at Woodville.
Guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson on Sunday were Rev. and Mrs. David White of Richmond, Miss Nellie Johnson, Miss Lillie Johnson " and Mrs. R. H. Carder.
Edward A. Butler, F.A. of Guam, is home for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Weston Sibert and family of Takoma Park and Lewis Butler of Washing-, ton, D. C. also were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Butler.
Mrs. Florence Johnson and Jim Gore were guests of Mrs. Teeny Guant near Sperryville Tuesday.
