Church Services

Rappahannock Methodist Charge services this Sunday will be at Willis Chapel at 9:45 a.m.; Flint Hill at 11 am; and at Sperryville at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Menchhofer will preach on "Go Ye Forth and Teach." You are invited to come and worship with us. BRIDGE PARTY~~

Mr«. John P. Snead entertained the Sperryville bridge club with additional guests Wednesday evening. Those playing were Mrs. George Taylor, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., . Mrs. C. H. H Branch, Mrs. H. C. Warwick, Mrs. R. V. Snead, Mrs. B. M. Miller, Mrs. Lee Thornton, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. R. E. Thompson, Mrs. Charles Estes, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Miss Louise O'Bannon, Mrs. Tom Hudson, Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, Mrs. John Davis, Mrs. Dike Quaintance, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. D. Lyle Miller, Mrs., I. R. Kilby, Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Mrs. J. W. Price, and Mrs. Holmes Hall. After the game, a salad course was served by the hostess and prizes were awarded. Mrs. Charles- Estes received high score prize for guests. Mrs. H. B. Winfrey received high score prize for the club. Mrs. John Davis received low for the guests and Mrs. Lee Thornton received low for the club. Traveling went to Mrs. George Taylor.

Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller of Mt. ProspecL had as their Saturday evening dinner guests, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wayland of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Triplett of Hume, Mr. and Mrs. Downing Wood, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Saterlee.
