Mrs. B. M. Miller and Mrs. Charles Estes attended the funeral of Mrs. Elias Cooksey of Arlington on Saturday. Mrs. Cooksey, formerly of Flint Hill, lived, prior to her death, with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bill LaBille of Arlington.

Mrs. Arthur Vaughan was a weekend gust of her mother, Mrs. Dell^ Partlow. /

Friday guests of Mrs. Della Partlow were Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Burke and family, Linda and Andrew of Frant Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis j. Turner had as their week-end guest, Mr. Turner’s father, C. G. Turner. Guests of Miss Evelyn Tyler Miller over the week end were Miss Mary Holmes Curd of Richmond. Misses Miller and Curd attended the Apple Blossom Festival in Winchester on Friday and the Gold Cup Races on Saturday.. On Sunday, Miss Curd’s parerits arrived at Mt. Prospect for the day with Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller and their daughter returned with them in tfce evening.
