Wednesday, May 20, Sperryville III 4-H at 2 p.m. Tour for Unit II Farm and Home Electric at 3:30 Flint Hill 4-H club met Monday. From fourteen 4-H'ers expressing desire to go to camp four delegates were selected: Pat Porter, Lucy Lillard, Buddy Moore and Jimmy.
Ivory Atkins gave a report on the county council. Rural Life Sunday Committee selected were: Pat Porter, Lucy Lillard, Buddy Moore, Ivory Atkins and Jean Lillard. Annie Dodson opened the Sperryville II 4-# meeting with the devotional. The school committee said they cleaned the school grounds. Ten 4-H'ers said they would like to go to camp this summer. Delegates selected were Carolyn Turner and Jackie Rutherford. Judy Hawkins reported on the county council
Sperryville I 4-H met Tuesday. Delegates elected of group going to camp were Mary Lou Davis and John Jenkins. Mary Lou Davis, program chairman read the poems, May Basket and Verse for Mother’s Day. Woodville 4-H met Friday morning. Rubie Hitt gave demonstration on curling hair on bobby pins and Louise Menefee showed how to curl hair on a curler. The girls choice of projects were Your Room and So You’d Like To Sew.
At Washington H.D. club the group decided to have a bake sale on June 6. Mrs. Jessie Rowzie was selected
