Wade Hamilton Jeffries, 57, died May 7, in Mt Alto Hospital, Washington, D. C, where he had been a (patient for some time. He was the :*on of John Jeffries and Ella Brook .Jeffries of Amissville. He is survived fiy his wife and two adopted children.
The funeral was held from Bethel .Baptist Church, Amis s v i 11 e •on Sunday, May 10, at 2 o’clock. The :services were conducted by Rev. Luther Banks and Rev. R. C. Davis. Tile burial was in the church •cemetery. The American Legion Post 174 took charge after die service. 'Commander Allen R. Rose was in •charge and the American Legion . Ladies Auxiliary were honorary pallHearers.
