Varsity flab Elects Officers
Last week the Rappahannock County Varsity club held a meeting to elect officers for the coming year. Those elected were as follows: President, Jackie Sisk; Vice-President, Jimmy Wayland; Secretary, Tony Lucas; and Treasurer, John Turner. They will replace, President, Newbill Miller; Vice-President, Daniel Keyser; Secretary, Douglas Martin* and Treasurer, Franklin Hawkins, all whom are members of the 1953 Senior Class.
The outgoing officers did very well as they were able to purchase jackets and sweat shirts- for each member. The money was earned by sponsoring dances, selling hot dogs and soft drinks at the games.
