Don’t-forget that Saturday, June 20, is the final date set for home owners to request a detailed Farm and Home Water' supply survey. This closing date was necessary in order to allow time to organize and allocate the surveys to the teams coming to the county the latter part of the month from the In-Service-Train - ing School of Health Department Sanitation Officers now in session at Orange. At the conclusion of this school the men attending will then come to Rappahannock the latter part of the month to make the surveys without charge or obligation to those requesting it.
As of last Monday morning sur- Vey requests had been received from Jos. D. Keyser, Annie Turner, W. A. - Miller, Milton Sisk, Henry Sisk, F. R. Taylor, Fred -Driebus, Andrew Copperthite, Elmer Jenkins, Robt. J. Boyd, James Bennett, and John B. Updike.
Anyone who owns a home in Rappahannock and wants a survey but did not receive a card, call Washington-2231 to let your wants ibe known.
Each person who requests a survey should try to decide where and for what purpose the water is to be used prior to the home visit by the survey team. Also they should determine the flow of water from the spring in gallons per ?. minute. In the event an existing well is to be used, pump it off by i hand and measure the flow, as some wells that have furnished an abundant supply under a pump operated by hand may not. afford sufficient flow under -a pressure water system, f * ^ -^.....
