AVFD AUXILIARY MEETING " The Ladies Auxiliary of the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department held , its regular monthly meeting at the new fire house last Tuesday night There were 20 members present and Mrs. Jennie Smith of Amissville, be- j came a member of the auxiliary. There was a discussion on the Bake Sale which is to be held at the Warrenton Fire House on June 20. Also plans for selling refreshments were made for the Firemen's Dance on June 19.
Plans for "a Variety Show were made. This will be given at the Fire House, benefit of the Ladies Auxiliary on June 24 at 8 p.m, A nominating committee was-ap - pointed for the election of new officers in July. This committee consists of Mrs. Floyd Hitt, Mrs. Tommy Stover and Mrs. Jessie Settle.
