Delegates To Convention

At a county Republican meeting on June 6 in the firehouse, L. R. Hudson and Paul A. Walker were elected delegates to the Republican State Convention in Roanoke, June 20. Mrs. Robert Hitt and Charlie Coates were elected alternates.

Amissville Firemen Sponsor

Dedication Dance ^

To celebrate the completion of the new fire house in Amissville, the volunteer fire company will sponsor a big show and dance Friday night, June 19 at 9 p.m. Connie B. Gay with Jimmy Dean and his Texas Wildcats will perform. A large crowd is expected to attend in praise of the firemen’s commendable work.
