Also all inventories of packing supplies owned by Washington Cooperative Fruit Growers, Incorporated and located on the aforesaid premises, including, but not limited to, the following described supplies: 8,140 field crates, 41 new baskets, 3,127 used baskets 700 used boxes. 1,100 lbs. Acme 1/4" box strapping, 6 kegs of-boxing nails, 17-100 lb. bags Sterling granulated salt, 900-5 lb. mesh bags, 250 sets crate liners, 3 boxes apple wrap paper, 2 boxes plain wrap paper, and 120 sets paper cushion liners, all used in connection with the operation of the business conducted on the aforesaid premises.
The property will be offered for sale subject to the following prior deeds of trust, executed by Washington Cooperative Fruit Growers, Incorporated: (1) deed of trust to Wm. J. Harvie and James W. Fletcher, Trustees, dated September 21, 1945 and recorded in the Clerk's Office aforesaid in Deed Book 46, page 137; (2) deed of trust to R. B. Jones, Jr. and James W. Fletcher Trustees dated July 22, 1946 and recorded in the Clerk’s Office aforesaid in Deed Book 47, page 217; (3) deed of trust to R. B. Jones Jr. and James W. Fletcher, Trustees, dated December 13, 1946 and recorded in the Clerk’s Office aforesaid in Deed Book 48, page 217* and (4) deed of trust to R. B. Jones, Jr. and James W. Fletcher, Trustees, dated July 31, 1947 tand recorded in the Clerk’s Office aforesaid m Deed Book 49, page 226; the aggregate indebtedness secured by and unpaid under said four prior deeds of trust being $87,585.87 as of the date of sale, which said sum is now due and payable.
This property is well located on the north side of. the Lee Highway, U. S. Route No. 211, about three miles to the southwest of Washington, Virginia in a heavy apple production area of Virginia and is equipped with modern apple grading, packing and storage facilities. The property is improved by a two-story apple packing p ant building of steel and cinder block construction erected in 1946* a two-story insulated cold storage building of steel and cinder bio :k -construction having a capacity of approximately 75,000 bushels erected in 1947; a 10'xlO' building of cinder block construction housing the pumping equipment, located 2I5 feet to the rear of the packing plant over a 100 foot well which supplies sufficient water for plant operations and a small building for handling roadside sales of apples.
