Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood made a business trip Friday to Washington, DC.
Among those who visited Mrs. Annie T. Bruce over the week end were Robert Bruce, Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Griffith and children of Front Royal, Miss Barbara Wayland and Reginald Wayland. Mrs. Bruce is improving and is still confined to her bed.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester L. Yates had as their guests last week, Mr. and Mrs. John Ankers and daughters, Misses Paulene'and Margaret Ankers and David and Jonathan Ankers of Foley, Minn. During their visit here Mr. and Mrs. Yates took them to Montieello and the Luray Caverns. They left on Sunday for the return trip West. Mr. and Mrs. Yates and two children attended the annual ynion meeting in Martinsburg, W. Va. on c un day.
