BRIDGE PARTY

Mrs. Carroll Menefce entertained the bridge club of Sperryville with additional guests on Thursday night at her home with the following guests playing: Mrs. George L. Taylor, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. D. Lyle Miller, Mrs. Frances B. Thornton, Miss Louise O’Bannon, Mrs. John P. Snead, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Mrs. Holmes Hall, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. T. J. Pillar of Sperryville; Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. Rayner Snead, Mrs. H. C. Warwick, Mrs. Wade H. Massie Jr., Mrs. C. T. Bruce, Mrs. B. M. Miller and Mrs. D. D. Miller of Washington. High score prize for club members was awarded to Mrs. Schaefer; high score for guests was awarded to Mrs. Estes; traveling to Mrs. Sealock and bingo to Mrs. Hall.

Mrs. W. H. Lyne and her daughter and sonr Peachy and David Lyne, who spent the week end in Toano with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Cottrell, returned on Sunday accompanied by Mrs. H. O. Lyne who has been spending some months in Richmond.

Mrs. Paul Nichols and Miss Peggy Pillar, are attending, a musical con-, ference at Massanetta Springs this week.
