TEACHERS’ PICNIC
The Rappahannock Teachers’ Association had a picnic Tuesday evening at 6 o’clock in the pavillion on Lake Manohoac. The teachers were able to renew friendships obscured by a full summer and to meet informally the newcomers.
IMMUNIZATION CLINIC
Immunization clinic will be held at the Rappahannock County Health Department in Washington, Va., on Tuesday, September 8 at 10 a.m. for those who have no family doctor or cannot afford to go to their family doctor.
RETURN FROM VACATION
The G. M. Profitts spent three weeks vacationing in New England. They returned last Tuesday, September 1st and report that they all had a very pleasant trip.
They spent most of their time in - and around the lake regions. The boys report they had a wonderful time playing in the lake, swimming, boating, etc. The weather was also good, as reported.
