Farewell Party Given

For Siamese Girls and Boys

A farewell party was given for the Siamese girls and boys who have spent the summer in the county ,on Saturday evening at the home of Mrs. Jack Bruce with Sangchan Nirandara and Nayana Prodisdh as hostesses. The guests were Misses Betty Johnson, Frances Smith, Peggy and Jean Clater, Romona and Rosemary Wire, Betty Rutherford, Evelyn Tyler Miller, Mary Norman Davis, Carolyn Gates Turner, Libby Litsey, Nitprapha Aduldejchras, Bobby Rutherford, Bobby Menefee, Carlyle Lea, John Turner, George Davis, Hill Walker, Jimmy Wayland, Bobby Massie, Suprija Mokkhanesa, Prasantrin Yuthasastrakosol, Yodchia Champrasert and Sunask Phaungphakdi.. Dancing was enjoyed and the hostesses were assisted in serving refreshments to the guests by Mrs. Jack Bruce arid Mrs. H. H. Aylor.

The Siamese Youths, who have been spending the summer months in Sperryville and Washington and are now leaving the County for their respective schools, wish to say goodbye to their many friends and to express their appreciation for the cordial hospitality extended them.
