CANASTA PARTY
Miss Betty Johnson entertained at a Canasta Party on Thursday evening. Those invited were Edna Yates Schaefer, Patsy Frazier, Peachy • Lyne, Patsy Reeve, Elizabeth Smith, and her house guest, Margy Winston, Nancy Brown, Carolyn Turner, Evelyn Tyler Miller, and Frances Smith. Patsy Frazier won high score prize, Elizabeth Smith, Bingo; and the low prize went to Miss Winston.
YOUTH FELLOWSHIP
The Youth Fellowship was entertained Thursday, August 27th by Paula Miller. Around 15 members were present.
CHURCH SERVICES
The Thursday evening Bible class at the Washington Baptist church, Washington, Va., will resume Thursday evening at 8:00 as usual.
Rev. Profitt will use as his subject for the 11:00 a.m.'at Flint Hill ahd the 8:00 p.m. af Washington, Sunday, September 6, “Other Foundations Can No Man Lay." The public is invited.
Elder W. L. Johnson of Winston Salem, N. C. will preach at the Front Royal Church, Tuesday night, Sept. 8.
