Massie — Ribble
The marriage of Miss Beverley Deane Ribble, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Arthur Ribble of White Post, to James Fletcher Massie of Washington was solemnized in the historical Meade Memorial Episcopal Church at 4 p. m. Saturday, October 14.
The Rev. Arthur Ribble, father of the bride, performed the ceremony, assisted by his brother, the Rev. Dr. Leigh Ribble of Richmond.
Given in marriage by her uncle, the Rev. Berry Barbour Simpson, of Washington, D. C., the bride wore a gown of ballerina length, nylon net over white satin. Her finger tip veil was attached to a white satin band. She carried a colonial bouquet of white roses, and lily-of-the-valley.
The bride's sister, Mrs. Harold Lauver of Pittsburg, Pa. played (the traditional wedding march.
The only attendant, Miss Susan Jones, of White Post, was maid of honor. Miss Jones wore a ballerina length, blue taffeta gown and carried a bouquet of bronze and gold chrysanthemums.
