The Rappahannock Circuit Court began ks November court' session on Monday, November 16. In Monday’s and Tuesday’s court, four cases were considered, three sentenced with sentences suspended and a fourth case continued. On Monday, November 16, the case of the Commonwealth vs. Clarence Edward Rector indicted fdr a felony, Rector entered a plea of guilty. He was sentenced to one year in the penitentiary; sentence was suspended by the court and the defendant was placed on probation Tor a period of two years.

In the Commonwealth vs. Harrison Atkins, charged with a felony, Atkins entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to 18 months in the penitentiary. Sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on probation for a like period (18 monthfe).
