Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller left Friday evening for Richmond where they attended the marriage of Mrs. Miller’s nephew, . Bunley Taylor Newbill, to Miss Anne Hudson Goodcke which was performed in the First Baptist Church Saturday afternoon. Friday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Miller attended buffet supper in the home of Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Rawls honoring- the bride and- groom-to-be.
Garden Club Studies Door Decorations Wednesday evening, Mrs. William Gilbert was hostess to the Flint Hill Garden Club. Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Hening of Sperryville gave a most instructive talk and beautiful demonstration on door decorations for Christmas.
