A good idea that we hope is„jnore widely adopted is that of a Chicago concern which yearly gives its employees with children, two hours off with pay to visit their child’s classroom. It is not fair to criticize our teachers and school officials if we are not familiar with the problems they face. By visiting the schools and showing intelligent interest in them, we can all do a better job of preparing our children for the difficult tasks ahead of them. , ■- —Crossett News Observer, Ark.

Mrs. E. R. Browning was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Turner of Front Royal. On Saturday Mrs. Browning accompanied a group of ladies from the Front Royal Presbyterian church to Lynchburg, where they visited the Presbyterian orphanage.
Monday. Mrs. E. R. Browning and Mrs. Turner of Front Royal were luncheon guests of Miss Bess Peyton and Miss Mary Williamson cf New Market.
Mrs. J. S. Browning and Mrs. E. R. Browning were bridge guests on Friday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Turner of Front Royal.
