Bridge Parties

Mrs. D. D. Miller entertained the Washington Bridge Club on Tuesday evening. Those playing were Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Mrs. R. L. Massie, Mrs. Charles Bruce, Mrs. W. H Massie, Jr., Mrs. J. W. Price, Mr?. George H. Davis, Jt, Mrs. W. F. Moffett , and D.'D. Miller.

At the conclusion of the game a salad course was ^served by the hostess, and prizes were awarded to Mrs. Bruce for high score; Mrs. R. L. Massie, traveling prize; and Mrs. W. H. Massie Jr., bingo; Mrs. Moffett, consolation.

Mrs. H. B. Winfrey entertained at bridge on Thursday evening at her home, “Sunstroke Manor." Those * playing were Mrs. R. E. Reeve, Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. Thomas J. Pillar, Mrs. R. E; Thompson, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. John P. Snead, Mrs. George L. Taylor, Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer, Mrs. Carroll Menefee, .Miss Louise O’Bannon, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. R. G. Quaintance, Mrs. John S. Davis, and Mrs. Brown Miller. High score prize was awarded to Mrs. Menefee; traveling, Mrs. Reeve; Bingo, Mrs. Sealock, and low,'Mrs. Kilby.

At the conclusion of the game the hostess served refreshments.
