May 22,1954; \ -*• ZZIKTOW-THIREF^E^TO^RE^ SOLVED, that this Rappahannock County Mass Meeting is proud to unanimously instruct its delegation to cast its entire vote for Honorable Burr P. Harrison for renomination as the Democratic candidate for U.,S. Congressman.
It was unanimously passed that the delegation to the 7th District Democratic Convention to be held in Waynesboro, 22 May 1954, be instructed to, employ the unit rule in atll matters to be voted upon at the Convention. Those delegates or alternates present at the Convention were empowered to cast the entire vote which the County delegation is entitled to vote.
Mias Worth T6 Appear In Recital At Madison College
Miss Jo Ellen Worth, soprano and Wayne Garber, baritone will appear in their senior recital at Madison College this Sunday afternoon, May 9 at 4 o'clock. They will be accompanied at the piano by Miss Joyce G. Waltney. The recital will foe held in Wilson Hall on the Madison College campus. Immediately following the recital there will be a reception in Alumni Hall. Thif senior recital is the 'big moment’ toward which the years of study and practice lead a Madison student. , Miss Worth is the daughter of Mrs. E. B. .Cary of Washington. v
