.Now o million women take part in home demonstration work in 62000 communities. About half of these women belong to home demonstration clubs organized to help them get the most from epclpnsion education. The other half receive help through the Home Demonstration Agents in some other way. More than half still live on farms.
Women, who take part in home demonstration work to what ever seems most important to them in jmproving their homes Or helping their families. - In Rappahannock 249 homemakers belong to home demonstration clubs and estimated that 460 of farm families and 274 non farm families are reached through extension either 4-H or H. D.

1. Youtfi and Community Recreation. 2. Housing—with emphasis on improving living rooms, kitchens and adding water and bathrooms.
