Glimpses Of Yesterday . . . A number of improvements are going on in our town at this time. Court House is about finished and work on * the new home of Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Bruce is being rushed by Contrac, tor Lawson. Mrs. Wm. G. Wood is having the dwelling occupied by P. S. Green as a barber shop newly weatherboardod and otherwise repaired, while a number of roofs are being painted. - ——
Mayor B. T. Partlow is spending several days with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Cannon near Castleton. ’ ,
Messrs. E. A. Roads and C. M. Baggarly have .analyzed some of the ore recently brought to this office by Mr. James H. Kid well and it proved to be iron. jl Quite a party left Tuesday evening to attend a tournament and tball to be given at the Fauquier White Sulphur Springs, Wednesday afternoon, viz: Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Green, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Kinsey, Mrs. Phillips, Dr. T. L. Booton and Messrs. J. T. Jones and R. M. Miller.
