April Clean-Up Day.

Clean-Up Day was discussed at kngth in the April meeting of die Washington Town Council field Tuesday night at 7:30.

In connection with the special day set aside as a spring house cleaning for the town, the council voted to: bring out the town benches from storage (for the winter) and have than painted; clean up various specific places ih town; have a special additional trash collection and rake and mow the town lots. The entrance signs to the town will also be given a face-lifting in the form of a new coat of paint and lettering.]

Mrs. Morgan Johnston reported that the town leaflets would soon reach completion. Miss Ruby Jenkins, in a report on die television set, stated that in correspondence with the Stromberg, Carlson Company, it had been agreed that the company would give die set a final thorough check up and repair. Following a brief discussion on the town water system and die condition of the water, Mayor Davis was selected to contact the local sanatarian in regard to die situation. It was suggested that the bondholders be asked to buy a new chlorinator for the water system. i. I Various smaller matters Were discussed by the council. j I]
