The Red Cross Drive was quite a success in Rappahannock, Mrs. Magdaline Dearing, County Chairman, has reported. Thus far the county has contributed $1026.63. The co-chairmen and the chairmen of the districts that worked so hard to make Rappahannock’s contributions so successful are Mrs. Will Porter, Mrs. Mary Timbers, and Mrs. George Fletcher, Hampton District;Mrs. Dorothy Butler and Miss Ethel Taylor, Piedmont Distirct; Mrs. Lucy Childs, and Mrs. Beulah Wallace, Stahewall District ; Mrs. Mary Jordan, Mrs. Mamie Roy and Mrs. Russell, Wakefield District; Mrs. Erma Lawson, Mrs. Mary Flycklin and 'Mrs. Gales, Jackson District; Mrs. Mary Carpenter, Hawthorne District.
