CHIEF—J.C.'S MEET IN SEASON OPENER
The Rappahannock Chiefs and the Flint Hill Athletic Club will ’ open their 1955 baseball season Sunday, May 1 when they' meet on the Chiefs’ home diamond nearWashington.
The Chiefs, composed of persons from the vicinity of Sperryville apd Washington, finished the league in second place last season. Proceeds from their club will go to the 2 fire companies.
The Athletic Club which draws its players from the Flint Hill vicinity saw a good season last year. With the practice behind them, they promise to be a hard team to beat. I
