The American Legion Post 174 and the Ladies Auxiliary Post 174 held a meeting at the home of Mrs. Havanna Jeffries, Wednesday, April 6th. They were entertained by Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. Webster Fletcher, Mrs. Havanna Jeffries, Mr. Reuben Ay lor, Mr. Thomas Wiggington, Mr. Albert Gatewood, and Mr. Harvey Clanaghan. After the meeting the guests were served fried chicken, ham sandwiches, deviled eggs, mints, nuts, and punch.
