At the suggestion ot rresident Tear it was voted to erect a flagpole and to obtain a set of National Colors to fly from the pole on holidays and special occasions determined by the Department. TTrat installation, it 'is hoped, will be completed prior to Memorial * Day,
The Department with regret accepted the resignation of VicePresident W. A. Laing, Jr., who feels that the pressure of other duties prevents him from continuing in the position he has held the past two and a half years. The President announced that the next monthly meeting would be open for nominations for a new VicePresident. , >
After some discussion it was voted to withdiaw from the Firemen’s Baseball League and to donate any share of profit in that organization which might have accrued to Amissville to the League, in view of the fact that Amissville had contributed nothing but money to the League at its. inception.
