Mrs. Nannie S. Scroggins Cannon, widow of -George- Edward Cannon, died at her residence at Castleton, Monday morning, April 4th,- following a long period of declining health.
Mrs. Cannon, 85 years Of age, was the daughter of the l*te Manley Scroggins of Warren County and Mrs. Agnes Grimsley Scroggins of Rappahannock and Warren Counties.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Agnes Williams of Casdeton; three grandsons, Thomas V. Williams of Castleton, Glen L. of Flint Hill and George S. of the U. S. Marines. I i
Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at the graveside in the Fairvicw Cemetery. Rev. Floyd Binns, assisted by Rev. Joseph Graver, conducted the last rites.
