The Reverend John Reeves Frizzell, Jr. was ordained to the Sacred Order of Priests in services held Wednesday morning at 10:30 in the Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington. The Right Reverend Frederick D. Goodwin, D-D., Bishop of Virginia, was Ordainer and Celebrant for the services. . Following the processional to the hymn “All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name,” the Reverend Dr. Robert O. Kevin, professor of Old Testament Studies at Virginia Theological Seminary, delivered* the sermon. A second Ijymn, “Come, Thou Almighty King” was then rendered by the choir and congregation. Holy , Communion was observed.
