Washington Baptist Church met Friday night» June 17 at 7:30 with Mrs. Clarence Racer on Blue Ridge Avenue.
Miss Gladys Payne lead a very interesting discussion on the month’s topic: Stop, Look, Listen. The following members took part on the program: Mrs. Willie Payne, Mrs. Charles Reid, Mrs. Bruce Bowie, the hostess, Mrs. Racer and the leader, Miss Payne. Mrs. Racer also gave a report on the meeting last week at Haywood.
Delicious refreshments were served and a social hour was enjoyed by those present.
