State Award Winner
Miss Lelia Gentry, 18-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Gentry of Flint Hill, has been announced a 4-H State Award v Winner in Community Relations, and awarded a certificate of honor.
Lelia has been in club work 8 years and completed 35 projects including home improvement, meal preparation, electric, clothing, v good grooming and dairy foods.
She was awarded a trip to the National 4-H Club Congress in home| improvement. In this project, she learned to refinish floors and furniture, tie springs and upholster furniture, paint, and to make rugs and curtains.
