50th Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. j. W. Bennett celebrated their Golden Anniversary, Saturday, June 18, at their home in Front Royal.
Born and raised in Rappahannock County, Mraj Bennett Was Bertha Elliott, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Elliott of Rappahannock. Mr. Bennett, a native of Rappahannock, is the kcjn of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eastham Bennett. The couple married and made their home in the county until about 13 years ago when they moved to Front Royal.
Their children who visited them on Sunday to wish them many more years of happiness were: Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Hawkins and family of Washington, Mr. ajnd Mrs. Wood Burke and family of Luray, Mrs. Stella Payne and son, J.' E. of Front Royal and Mrs* Mary’ Elliott and son, Jack; and great grandchildren. j |
