At Washington’s
Home Carnival
"Dancin’ In the Street” will be featured in Saturday night’s Home Carnival sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington^ Volunteer Fire Department.
Other attractions will include games, fortune telling, food stand, knock down the bottles and the crowning of Miss Rappahannock.
“Come early, around 6, and eat supper. There’ll be plenty of home made food, and you won’t find a moment of boredom during the evening of fun.”
There’s still time to cast your vote for Miss Rappahannock. One cent entitles you to one vote; the more pennies, the more votes. There are cans placed in the following business establishments: Hampton Inn and Service Station, Guy’s Restaurant, Fran’s Restaurant, Lea’s Store and Washington Cash' Store. Mrs. Matilda Walker is chairman of this project.
