ENTERTAINED AT HILL VIEW ON FATHER’S DAY
Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Hawkins were entertained on Father’s Day by members of their family at a picnic at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Joel Jenkins and Mr. Jenkins of “Hill View.” Among those present Were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Temple, Miss Ruth Temple, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Temple and their son of Washington, D. C., Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Boswell and their sons of Rogers Heights, MAr Mr. and Mrs. Charles Corder and son, of Huntly and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hawkins and sons of Front Royal.

Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Sr. was hostess to the Flint Hill Garden Club last Wednesday, Mrs. R. L. Massie lead a discussion on the month’s topic. Around 8 members were present. __ Flint Hill Wallops Stevenson, 8 to 1
Bill North, looking in top form Sunday, defeated Stevenson 8 to 1 with fine pitching and good backing by his teammates.
North went the route striking out nine ahd allowing only 5 scattered hits—at no time was he in trouble.
Stevenson’s-only run came in the * last frame with 2 men out and a man on. Bailey connected for a 3 bager. The next man up struck out to end the game. Patton was the losing pitcher. This Sunday w«s a repeat performance of last Sunday’s errorless game.
