Virginia broiler prices dropped off about a penny a pound last week, reacting to heavy marketings of light weight birds. The average was 26 Vi to 27 Vi cents.
However, Georgia was up to 27 cents and North Carolina up slightly to 26Vi, putting the three areas about on a level once more.
