Washington Auxlry. Plans Party For
Saturday Night
A “Fun For All Party” was planned for this Saturday evening by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington V. F. D. in their July meeting held Monday evening. As numerous gifts were not won by contestants in the Home Carnival, the game stand, under the direction of Misses Mary and' Ruby Jenkins, will be tpe main feature of the party. j
A second attraction will be the auctioin sale to be held at the fire house on the same night. Refresh*ments will also be on sale.
Mrs. C. T. Bruce presided *f the July meeting with 7 members present: Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. B. M. Miller, Mrs. C. G. R«?id, Misses Ruby and Mary Jenkjns and Mrs. Bruce Bowie. |
It was decided: to save the antique picture frames, which Mfs. Moffett had donated, for a fall project. j
During a discussion of plans for the Saturday party, Misses Ruby and Mary Jenkins volunteered fo be in charge of stringing the outside lights. Mrs. Moffett offered to contact the Boy Scouts to ask their assistance on setting up the tables and chairs. _ j
