To take part, the Board would first appoint a 6-man committee composed of representative persons,"^or example, the Game Warden, Sanatarian, member of the: Rappahannock Hunt or a supervisor. •
This committee would bring their recommendation to the board. Then with the help of ideas gat nished from area meetings a program would be planned along the lines where-the county needed a*. sistance. ' 9r [
The Supervisors said , that they had reviewed the rabies situation in their last meeting andhad voted against- the adoption of any programs. The reasons “con” had not changed. They did not believe the people of the county wanted the compulsory vaccination\ program which would most likely be the result of the study. Therefore it was no need to enter into any study group.
A request by ’Mrs. Elizabeth Buntin, Welfare fSupt., j to raise die compensation of the Wed fa re Board members, was met with approval. A motion was made to consider it in the future when the. . supervisors will know more about the condition of the budget.
In addition to the abbVe proposal, the Supervisors Approved several sheep claims and discussed smaller matters.
