Mr. and Mrs. Russell Swindler and their daughter, Linda of Brentwood, Maryland, who spent the week end in Madison with their mother, Mrs. Annie Gore Bruce in the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Lawton Blankenbaker, were guests on Monday of Mr. Swindler’s mother and sister, Mrs. O. B. Swindler and Miss Barbara Swindler.
Mrs. Lucy W, Hawkins and her son, Thurman Hawkins of Washington, B. C. spent the week epd at Jackson Hill, tl» home of Mr. and Mrs. Jtck Bruce. ? X, Week-end and holiday grfests of Mrs. O. B. Swindler/and her daughter were Mrs. Sadie Rowe, her daughter and grandson, Mrs. Rebecca Rowe Hammond and Wayne Hammond of Cottage City Maryland. -Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Shade Jr. and two children, came Friday night for a week end and holiday visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Dwyer. Miss Ruby Dwyer of Washington, D. C. was also a guest in the home of her parents. On Saturday, Mrs. Rhoda Pullen, Miss Ruby Dwyer and Mrs. J. R. Shade went to Colonial Beach for a day’s outing.
