efs drove to Washington, D. C. last week to attend the funeral of one of her relatives, Leon Glenffiore Rosson.
Miss Mary Noel Regan of New York City was home for the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Denis L. Regan of “Donnybrooke.” Guests of the Regans on Sunday included Commander and Mrs. B. F. Capehart of Fairfax and Ensign James Barrett of Norfolk.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold W. Dickensheets of Chevy Chase arrived Sunday to spend several days in their Slate Mills home.
The local Home Demonstration Club will meet Friday night at eight o’clock in the Sunday School rooms of the Baptist Church with Mrs. Ruth Kennedy as hostess.
