Mrs. A. M. Verner, Miss Elizabeth Verner, Raymond Jenkins, Mr and Mrs. D. C. Updike and Miss Phyllis Verner were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. V. R. Updike.
Miss Phyllis Verner remained with the Updikes for a week’s visit.
Mrs. A. M. Verner, Miss Elizabeth Verner and Raymond Jenkins, accompanied by Keith Brockmann, motored to Charles Town, West Virginia and joining the Brockmann family continued to Harpers Ferry for a picnic luncheon. Later they visited the beach and then returned to Mr. Brockmann’s home for dinner in the evening. They motored to Washington later in the evening.
