Flint Hill Auxiliary Met Monday Night

Ladies Auxiliary of the Flint kjill Fire Company met on the porch of Flint Hill School, Monday evening for their July meeting. There were 15 members * present and all took part in a discussion of plans for the carnival, ' August 4, 5, and 6. .

Mrs. Emory Russell, the presi-^ dent, conducted the business’ meeting. Chairmen were chosen for the different stands and the Carnival queen contest. It was decided that each business might sponsor one queen candidate, paying $1 for the privilege, which would give the girl 100 votes for a start. Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr. was elected chairman of this project. The cans to receive votes will be placed in stores within the next few days.

It was decided tp buy a coffee maker to be used in the food stand and later in the fire hall. * :
