Apple Growers Co-op.
Upon the resignation of C. J. Miller, Jr., John R. DeBergh was elected president of the Washington Apple Growers Cooperative* Inc., at a director’s meeting following the annual stockholders meeting Wednesday night, July, 13.
Among those present at the stockholders meeting were C. J. Miller, Jr., W. C. Campbell, J. D. Keyser, E. M. Richards, A. W. Yowell, H. B. Winfrey, Mrs. C. R. Hite, R. V. Snead, J. P. Snead, E. M. Jones, C. E, Johnson, Jr., William Stuart, L. J. Kilby, and John R. DeBergh.
The following directors (were chosen by the stockholders; D. Lyle Miller, Jr., J. P. Snead, A. W. Yowell, E.; M. Richards, W. C. Campbell, J. D. Keyser and Mr. DeBergh. In the directors' meeting in addition to electing Mr. DeBergh, president, Mr. Yowell was elected, vice president, C. E. Johnson, secretary, E. M. Jones, operation manager and L. J. Kilby, sales manager.
Mr. Jones reports that they will begin packing ram bos this Thursday. •
