With 80th Infantry < For Field Training
' Indiantown Gap, Pa.—Seven Army Reservists from Rappahannock and 13 from Culpeper are taking two weeks field training with Virginia’s 80th Infantry (Res.) Diyision at the Indiantown Gay Military Reservation, Pa.
The men are all members of Company D, 318th Infantry Regiment. Capt. Claude I. Guinn of Culpeper is commanding officer of the company and First Lieutenant Robert G. Leonard of Rappahannock is the executive officer.
During the two weeks, from July 10 through July 24, the-reservists are studying basic and advanced military subjects, firing Infantry weapons, and undergoing specialist training in communications, administration, and Army intelligence. *
The annual two-week encampment gives the reservists an opportunity to put into practice'the subjects they have studied during -their meetings in Culpeper throughout die year.
The Rappahannock men attending are: Lt. Leonard, Pvts. Isaac Atkins, Jr., Jeremiah Atkins III, Gordon L. Graves, Gavor K. Foster, Joseph I. Pullen and Robert E. Settle.
