Mr. and Mrs. Arthur T. Cohort and family are spending the summer months at their home, “Hawthorne "House,” near Slate Mills.
Dr. and Mrs. R. W. Quaintance have as house guests for several days Mrs. Ray Stafford of Lunsdale, W, Va. and Mrs. Cecil Terry of Beckley, West Va.
Mrs. Jennie Miller and her sister, Miss Lizzie Miller enjoyed a visit last Thursday from Mr. and Mrs. Frank Noel, also \Jrs. Crosswhite, her children, Marilyn and Billy, and her mother, Mrs. Buchanan, all of Washington, D. C.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold W. Dickensheets left Friday on a motor trip durj/tg which- they will visit friends and relatives in West Virginia and Ohio.
