At a fruit-growers’ meeting to be held Friday night at 8 o’clock af Rappahannock County High Sfchool auditorium, discussion of marketing the coming apple crop, .and the full-color movie “Gateway To Health” will be featured. The “Gateway” movie, made by the nation’s apple growers thru National Apple Institute, is based on the actual work of a noted Altoona, Pa. dentist, Dr. Fred Miller, in " • collaboration with University, of Chicago’s Dental College. It* has * stirred much favorable interest among doctors and dentists, and among school teachers and , pupils, in its first year of showing.
The Friday night meeting is be* ing arranged by C. E. Johnson, Jr., director of Appalachian Apple Service, the 4-state apple growers’, association, who will preside. Secretary-Manager Miller and Fieldman Beeler of Appalachian will. discuss apple marketing the past season, and the marketing outlook alyad. All are welcome.___
